Objective

The aim of the study course “Sports gaming didactic” is to ensure that students acquire in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the technical, regulatory and didactic fields of five sports games (basketball, florball, football, handball and volleyball). At the end of the course, students will be able to plan, manage and adapt sports classes for different age groups, integrating interdisciplinary knowledge (professional terminology in English, anatomy, physiology and pedagogy) and observing the principles of safety, ethics and inclusive education. Students will have developed the skills to analyse the technique and tactics of sports games, provide targeted feedback, and promote the motivation and participation of learners in sport through state-of-the-art learning strategies.

Prerequisites

Completion of the study course requires basic knowledge acquired during general education – playing rules and basic techniques for sports games (basketball, florball, football, handball and volleyball). The study course also requires general knowledge in human anatomy and physiology, which allows understanding of the basis of movement and the impact of physical activity on the human body, as well as knowledge of English for the acquisition of professional terminology.
