About Study Course
Objective
To ensure the acquisition of theoretical knowledge of disease processes and dynamics, in accordance with the philosophy of homoeopathy, and practical skills, development thereof in accordance with the requirements of the homoeopathy specialty regulation.
Learning outcomes
1.• of the role of constitution, constitutional sensitivity and susceptibility in the development of a disease;
• of the vital force or vital principle in disease and health;
• of the importance of aetiological, environmental and lifestyle factors;
• of symptom specification in homoeopathy;
• of the principles of homoeopathic understanding and interpretation of symptoms;
• of the different perception of symptoms in conventional and homoeopathic medicine;
• understanding of the need to develop observation skills;
• understanding of the value of conventional nosology knowledge.
1.• to carefully observe and describe the natural history (pathography), evolution and manifestations of a disease or disease process;
• to observe and describe the individual and constitutional characteristics of the patient;
• to formulate symptoms and translate them into repertory language;
• to create (organise) and analyse a hierarchy of symptoms;
• to assess the degree of symptom manifestation;
• to assess the patient’s energy and expression of vital force based on the dynamics of disease processes;
• to recognise and interpret the “levels” and “layers” of the patient’s illness;
• to communicate and listen attentively to all information about the patient.
1.• to observe and analyse the patient’s symptoms;
• to describe and analyse the patient’s pathography;
• to formulate the primary diagnosis;
• to perform differential diagnosis;
• to draw up a therapeutic plan;
• to apply knowledge of the “levels” and “layers” of the concept of the patient’s condition;
• to analyse and synthesise using philosophical induction and deduction.
