About Study Course
Objective
Develop students’ understanding of the legalities of child movement development and the development of movement skills at different stages of age, including the principles of developing basic movement skills (locomotors, manipulation and stability). Develop the skills to plan and implement physical activities in pre-school and primary school based on the principles of sports pedagogy, educational standards and child development needs.
Prerequisites
Prior to completion of the course, the student shall have the following knowledge:Knows:the basic concepts of physical development of the child and the foundations of movement development;the role of physical activity in promoting health;basic principles of sports pedagogy/didactic.know/manage toproduce a simple description of exercises (goal-execution-safety);distinguish between the characteristics of old age stages (pre-school vs primary school);comply with basic safety requirements in classes.
Learning outcomes
1.Describes the importance of the legitimacy of child movement development, the process of developing basic movement skills and physical activity at preschool and primary school age.
1.Independently analyse and improve their professional activities in the field of movement skills basic movement development and organisation of physical activities in pre-school and primary school.
1.Plans and implements physical activity classes and movement skills development activities in pre-school and primary school, integrating translational skills and ensuring a safe learning environment.
