About Study Course
Objective
Acquire and improve theoretical knowledge and practical skills at the level required for internists about reanimation and intensive therapy in life-threatening situations.
Learning outcomes
1.Upon completion of the intensive care course resident knows the causes, clinical manifestations, diagnostics, differential diagnostics, emergency action algorithms, dynamic status control of the acute life-threatening situations in internal medicine.
1.Students are able to perform adequately in situations of emergency care - to provide vital signs monitoring, use diagnostic and therapeutic action algorithms, use the aids required for the maintenance of vital functions (defibrillation, inotropic stimulation, artificial ventilation, hemodialysis, etc.).
1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills resident will be able to define a diagnosis, make differential diagnosis, interpret test data, develop a structured treatment and rehabilitation plan, logically define and explain the treatment objectives, assess its effectiveness, side effects.
