Objective
Aim of this course is to provide theoretical and practical basis for interpretation of specific laboratorical tests (bacteriology, virology, parasitology, serology, immunology etc.).
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
1.During this course resident will:
Acknowledge specific diagnostic methods of infectious diseases.
Be familiar with principles biological material of collection and storage.
Develop skill of laboratory test result interpretation.
Skills
1.Resident will be able to fulfill screening program and to prescribe specific laboratorial tests for diagnostic of infectious diseases, as well as interpret results.
Competence
1.Resident will be highly qualified to diagnostic and treat acute infectious diseases, and to construct prophylaxis programs.
