Objective

To provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquisition and improvement in laboratory research.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Student will be able to:
• explain the terms in laboratory;
• describe the principles and use of laboratory investigation methods;
• explain the differences in laboratory examinations at different ages;
• evaluate the importance of laboratory methods.

Skills

1.The student will be able to:
• collect the essential information on the laboratory techniques;
• use the appropriate method for the investigation of allergic patients;
• choose the most appropriate tests;
• choose the best tests according to the patient’s disease and age.

Competence

1.The student is able to use acquired knowledge of laboratory methods:
• to formulate the differences between allergy tests and its importance;
• to interpret the data obtained from different tests methods;
• to develop laboratory testing algorithms for various allergic diseases, age groups.
