About Study Course
Objective
To provide knowledge about the social security system of Latvia, it's constituent parts and basic principles, including social assistance and social services system.
Prerequisites
Not required.
Learning outcomes
In result student should obtain knowledge about constituent elements of social security system of Latvia, about legal order of education, health care, facilitation of employment in Latvia, about social insurance system and system of social assistance and social services.
In result student should understand diverse and common in the elements of social security system, to be able distinguish different elements of social security and to know specific principals of operation of each element.
To apply the acquired knowledge to characterize social security system of Latvia.
