To improve master students' understanding of research and ability to develop their own research project, including a detailed justification and implementation process, planned data acquisition and processing procedures; to evaluate the possible risks and threats of the planned research; describe the ethical aspects of the research.


Study courses "Research Methodology", "Theoretical and Methodological Basis of Master's Thesis Development" have been acquired.

Learning outcomes


Understands, compares and critically evaluates various theoretical approaches and research results in relation to the research topic; understands the requirements of Master's thesis development and evaluation criteria.


Formulates research questions according to the topic, selects and critically evaluates the literature sources, justifies the topicality and problem of the research, formulates the research goal and question(s)/ hypothesis(es), chooses the research methodology appropriate for the research purpose, according to ethical norms in the study, describes the planned data methods of analysis, assesses the risks and threats of a potential study.


Independently plans a research that complies with fundamental research principles and ethical norms and presents a research project.
