About Study Course
Objective
Acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills at the level necessary for an acupuncture doctor about the medical technologies of acupuncture.
Learning outcomes
1.The student has acquired theoretical knowledge of medical technologies of acupuncture, needle standards and selection principles, laser puncture, electropuncture, vacuum therapy and moxibustion therapy, indications and contraindications for use.
1.The student has acquired practical skills in needle insertion and manipulation techniques, use of laser puncture, electropuncture, vacuum therapy and moxibustion therapy methods, evaluation of results, recognition of complications. Insertion of different types of needles. Auxiliary techniques for needle insertion. Needle manipulation techniques, basic methods, tonification and sedation methodologies.
Has learned the following:
• application of moxibustion therapy
• application of vacuum therapy
• application of intradermal needles
• application of three-edged needles (San Leng Zhen)
• application of skin acupuncture hammer (Mei Hua Zhen)
• application of transdermal electropuncture
• application of laser puncture method.
1.Knows the medical technologies of acupuncture, is able to apply them differently in appropriate cases. Has mastered the execution of the specific acupuncture technology.
