Objective
To learn the histological examination of biopsy specimens from different parts of the gastrointestinal tract, in order to be able to accurately interpret the conclusions of pathology specialists in the clinic.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
1.Knowledge of the histological finding of the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract in normal variants and in case of various pathologies of the digestive organs and other organ systems.
Skills
1.Skills to evaluate the results of morphological examination of the gastrointestinal tract and liver and connection thereof with the patient’s clinical condition, to determine indications for morphological examination.
Competence
1.To independently use acquired knowledge and skills in formulating clinical diagnoses and making decisions.
