Objective

To provide deeper knowledge and create an understanding of the psychology of music and its practical application.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Students are familiar with the general concepts of music psychology and their relationship with other branches, define the basic problems and facts analyzed in music psychology, name and describe the process of music psychology in professional terminology, orient themselves, understand and familiarize themselves with basic theories and processes.

Skills

1.Students are able to use the cognitive and practical skills acquired in the music psychology course to perform professional tasks and solve problems, are able to use the necessary knowledge by analyzing the basic theories of music psychology and are able to choose and apply basic methods, means, materials and information for their music selection. Able to evaluate the physical, cognitive and psychosocial effects of music on personality development, applying it in practice.

Competence

1.Students know how to use theoretical knowledge and the results of practical research, are able to interpret them in the context of psychology. Able to use theoretical knowledge of music psychology.
