About Study Course
Objective
To provide in-depth insight into the interdisciplinary treatment of patients, identifying the need for orthodontic corrections, planning complex reconstructions in dental prosthetics. To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in accordance with modern technologies and evidence based treatment principles.
Learning outcomes
1.About the alternatives for replacement of missing teeth;
About the techniques for development the implant space;
About the long-term changes in the dentition around the implants;
About orthodontic preparation of the dental arches prior restorations of tooth wear;
Knowledge about orthodontic aspects of temporomandibular disorders, the role o an orthodontist in their management.
1.Ability to evaluate the dental arch before planning dental implants: available space and possibilities to augment the implant space.
Will be able to plan the orthodontic procedures prior restorative replacements: intrusions and up righting of teeth.
1.To take part in an interdisciplinary team to plan and execute treatment.
