About Study Course
Objective
To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, throat and nose diseases in children, as well as to ensure the acquisition of knowledge and diagnosis of diseases and disorders of the hearing and vestibular system in children with neurological manifestations.
Learning outcomes
1.Gains knowledge of the most common ear, throat and nose diseases in children, hearing and vestibular disorders in neurological diseases and syndromes.
1.Is able to perform basic clinical examination of ear, throat and nose diseases in children, to use theoretical knowledge and manipulations in the examination of the auditory and vestibular system for the diagnosis of neurological diseases and syndromes.
1.Independently plans and organises the improvement and development of own professional competence. Competence in ear, nose and throat diseases is sufficient to understand their nature, to diagnose and, if necessary, provide emergency care, to refer to a specialist, as well as to carry out diagnostic, treatment and preventive measures under the guidance of a specialist. Integrates knowledge of otorhinolaryngology in the development and expansion of the competence of a paediatric neurologist.
