About Study Course
Objective
To acquire and develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to palliative oncology.
Learning outcomes
1.During the time allotted for the study course, the medical resident acquires knowledge about the principles of palliative care in oncology.
1.As a result of completing the study course, the medical resident will be able to evaluate the patient’s clinical condition, take a full life and disease anamnesis, objectively examine the patient, prescribe additional examination methods when needed, prescribe appropriate palliative treatment, as well as provide emergency medical assistance in acute situations.
1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills, the medical resident will be able to formulate a diagnosis, perform differential diagnosis, interpret the examination data, develop a structural treatment and rehabilitation plan, logically formulate and explain the goals of treatment, evaluate its effectiveness and side effects.
