Pathology I (RTM_006)
About Study Course
Objective
To acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the subject of clinical pathology by getting to know the investigation methods used in pathology, participating in patho-anatomical autopsies, performing research on histological preparations, learning special literature and preparing seminars.
Learning outcomes
1.Understand the importance of morphological examinations in the diagnosis of pathology, name the most important staining methods and the purpose of their application, acquire in-depth knowledge of pathological processes and their pathomorphology.
1.Microscopically diagnose simple clinical cases in surgery and biopsies, as well as section material. Perform morphological examinations of 100 different organs, analysis of 100 surgical cases and description and cutting of material, perform 10 autopsies, description of research of histopreparations and surgical materials, section protocol and preparation of pathologist's diagnosis.
1.At the end of the study course, be able to independently perform a patho-anatomical autopsy, diagnose a pathological process in histological material, be able to explain the manifestations of a pathological process and perform differential diagnosis, establish a diagnosis and draw up a patho-anatomical examination protocol.
