About Study Course
Objective
To provide knowledge on the pathogenesis of human diseases as the theoretical basis for further clinical studies and practical medical work; to develop practical skills in the evaluation of biopsies and laboratory investigations in practical work and research in pharmacology.
Prerequisites
Cell biology, human anatomy and physiology, biochemistry.
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of the course the students will know and will be able to explain the nature, development, causes, consequences and outcomes of various diseases and general pathological processes.
The students will be able to identify the most frequent pathologies and evaluate the mechanisms of pathogenesis in clinical tasks.
The student will be able to formulate, differentiate, analyse and argue the course of pathological processes in clinical tasks.
