About Study Course
Objective
To provide and enhance the theoretical knowledge and practical skills in pediatric suppurative surgery, per the pediatric surgical specialty’s requirements to prepare the doctor for certification in the specialty of pediatric surgery.
Learning outcomes
1.- to define conservative and surgical treatment indications in pediatric suppurative surgery for children at various ages.
- to draft the examination and treatment plan for patients with acute suppurative surgical infections.
- to orientate with the diagnostic methods and instruments used in pediatric suppurative surgery, as well as the surgical treatment options and principles.
To learn:
• detailed theoretical knowledge of emergency situations in pediatric suppurative surgery for children of various ages.
• conservative and surgical treatment indications and their application in surgical emergencies for patients (children at various ages) with acute suppurative disorders.
• diagnostic methods, instruments and apparatuses, and practical skills for diagnostic and treatment manipulations used in pediatric suppurative surgery.
• to draft an examination and treatment plan for patients with acute and chronic purulent diseases.
1.- To determine indications for surgical treatment of pediatric suppurative infections.
- To perform urgent therapeutic surgical procedures in suppurative infective disorders for children at various ages.
1.- To provide emergency surgical assistance for patients with suppurative pathologies for children at various ages.
