About Study Course
Objective
To develop an understanding of the course of historical development of personality theories, the current situation and the diversity of theoretical positions and their evaluation criteria. To deepen the students' knowledge about the psychology of development, the regularities of personality development at different age stages, to develop the ability to observe according to developmental criteria and to analyze personality development.

No prior knowledge required.
Learning outcomes
Analyse and compare theories of personality and developmental psychology, explain the basic problems and facts analysed in personality and developmental psychology, describe the developmental process in professional terms, describe the basic theories and processes in personality development.
Assess cognitive and psychosocial development at different ages, recognise other people's psyche defence mechanisms in everyday life.
Interprets the findings of personality and developmental psychology and art therapy in the context of specialisation. Uses theoretical concepts of personality and developmental psychology to analyze the development and adult life history of a specific child. Interprets developmental psychological patterns from a holistic perspective.
