Objective

Develop critical thinking and analytical skills by studying in depth the principles of patient treatment planning and evaluation of therapeutic strategies.

Prerequisites

Successfully completed the preclinical course of Preclimnical course in Prosthetic Dentistry I, II, III. Successfully completed study course dental anatomy, physics and biomaterials skull aspects, emergency medical assistance, radiology, normal physiology, oral pathology diagnostics, clinical pharmacology, prostodontic clinic Dental technical laboratory.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Student will know the basic principles of assessing dental prognosis on the basis of which he or she will be able to offer the patient an optimal treatment plan.

Skills

1.Student will be able to develop a patient-centered treatment plan taking into account specific clinical situations and patient needs.

Competence

1.Student will be able to develop a patient-centered treatment plan identifying treatment problems, taking into account individual needs, health status and preferences, as well as providing alternative treatment options. The proposed plan will be justified by a science-based approach.
