Objective

To promote the development of competence of health professionals that would ensure and implement an evidence-based care process individually and by participating in research and projects in the field of health care and social welfare.

Prerequisites

Knowledge in nursing study subjects, informatics and statistical methods.

• Will be able to recognise and describe the importance of research in health care.
• Will be able to name and describe research principles, ethical aspects and regulatory enactments.
• Will be able to describe the types of research design and research cycle.
• Will be able to describe the research problem, topicality and basic research principles.

• Will be able to implement evidence-based care.
• Will be able to use research methodology and terminology.
• Will be able to apply Nursing theories and concepts in research.
• Will be able to get involved and participate in research.
• Participate and participate in projects related to health care and social welfare, the basic principles of their development and operation.
