Objective

Deepen knowledge and skills in detecting and addressing research problems in context of physiotherapy and health care. To develop skills implament scientific evidence, knowledge and clinical guidelines in clinical practice and rehabiliation problem solving. To develop skills to creat physiotherapy goal achievment and therapy effectivness assessment protocols.

Prerequisites

knowledge and skills acquired in bachelor study program to obtain physiotherapist qualification and bachelor degree in health care.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

student will be able to describe and explain principles of making research question in connection with clinical / field context; steps of sistematic literature search and analysis of evidence; steps of guideline development and included information interpretation;

Skills

ability to find, select and analyse literature related to problem (clinical / field / research); ability to interpret level of evidence; ability to integrate evidence in physiotherapy practice and consult collegues about evidence-based practice; to chose evidence-based patients assessment methods to detect physiotherapy effectivness and goal achievment;

Competence

to make evidence-based physiotherapy practice and stimulate such approach in students and collegues; to solve actual research problems in physiotherapy (rehabilitation); to develop physiotherapy field by integration of evidence, expierence and creative, holistic approach in problem solving.
