About Study Course
Objective
Acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills at the level required for internists about pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis.
Learning outcomes
1.Upon completion of the phtysiatrics course resident knows the main symptoms, diagnostics and treatment methods, complications, specific and non-specific prevention of pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis.
1.Upon completion of the phtysiatrics cycle resident is able to recognize the diverse forms and signs of pulmonary tuberculosis, complication, including side effects of pharmacotherapy of pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis, has acquired the skills to assess the results of specific investigation methods.
1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills resident will be able to define a diagnosis, make differential diagnosis, interpret test data, develop a structured treatment and rehabilitation plan, logically define and explain the treatment objectives, assess its effectiveness, side effects.
