Objective

Promote the skills of medical residents to contribute to the development of evidence-based medicine by developing practical skills in the development of research paper by the medical resident – expanding and systematising theoretical knowledge and learning the skills to apply it in researching the chosen topic, formulating problems and drawing up reasoned conclusions and proposals.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.In-depth and strengthened: • theoretical knowledge of selected topic • knowledge of study
development – definition of the study plan, determination of work objectives, hypothesis and tasks, research methods, data acquisition and processing methods.

Skills

1.Developed skills: • Create a study plan, develop work goals, hypothesis, and tasks •
find, select and analyse scientific literature, compile it; • apply research methods to data acquisition and perform data processing; • present the results obtained; • technically, bibliographically and literarily correct, to draw up research paper in accordance with existing requirements.

Competence

1.Established and strengthened competences in the development of scientific research paper – to formulate and address complex issues; collect the resulting information, critically and analytically, systematically integrating the acquired knowledge, interpret the resulting results and define the conclusions.
