About Study Course
Objective
To promote the ability of residents to contribute to the development of evidence-based medicine, by the resident developing practical skills in the development of scientific work - expanding and systematizing theoretical knowledge and acquiring the ability to apply it in the research of the chosen topic, formulating problems and developing justified conclusions and proposals.
Prerequisites
Prior knowledge in the relevant field of medicine and in the development of research in accordance with the requirements of the undergraduate program and the topic of the scientific research work approved by the Council of the Faculty of Residency Studies.
Learning outcomes
1.Deepened and strengthened:
• theoretical knowledge of the chosen topic;
• knowledge of research development – defining the research plan, determining work goals, hypotheses and tasks, research methods, data acquisition and processing methods.
1.Developed skills:
• create a research plan, develop work goals, hypothesis and tasks;
• find, select and analyze scientific literature, compile it;
• apply research methods for data acquisition and perform data processing;
• present the obtained results;
• to design the research work technically, bibliographically and literary correctly, in accordance with existing requirements.
1.Created and strengthened competences in the development of scientific research work - formulating and solving complex issues; gather the obtained information, critically and analytically, systematically integrating the acquired knowledge, interpret the obtained results and define the conclusions.
