About Study Course
Objective
To acquire knowledge and understanding of the practical application of special massage modalities. To learn the methodology of therapeutic massage for various conditions.
Prerequisites
Human anatomy, physiology, pathological physiology, classical massage, clinical medicine.
Learning outcomes
1.As a result of the study course, students will know the basic techniques and indications of segmental massage, manual lymphatic drainage, sports massage, foot and point massage and massage with medical devices, as well as indications and contraindications of therapeutic massage for various diseases, the student will be able to describe the possibilities of using therapeutic massage, taking into account the client's health condition, know the required intensity and duration of the procedure.
1.As a result of the study course, students will be able to apply segmental massages, manual lymphodrainage, massage techniques to various diseases, sports massages, foot and point massages and massages with medical devices basic techniques, utilisation techniques, and methodology.
1.Student will be able to use the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge in professional activities.
