RSU Kurzeme Study Centre
The only healthcare education institution in Kurzeme, offering state-funded bachelor’s and short-cycle professional higher education programmes.
At the RSU Kurzeme Study Centre (formerly the Liepāja Branch), 232 students are currently enrolled in either the Physician Assistant short-cycle (Level 1) professional higher education programme or the Nursing bachelor’s programme, which is identical in both content and quality to the programme delivered in Riga.
The majority of students begin working at the healthcare institutions where they completed their clinical placements, often securing employment shortly after their internship experience.
