Objective

Develop students’ ability to analyse and apply psychological theories and patterns in shaping health-promoting behaviors in the context of sports and physical activity to develop evidence-based strategies to promote healthy lifestyles among athletes and the general population.

1.Able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the impact of psychological, social and environmental factors on the health behaviour and lifestyle choices of individuals.

1.Is competent to apply patterns of behaviour change and self-regulation techniques by developing a plan to promote health behaviour.

1.Able to independently formulate and evaluate complex health behavioural problems using an integrated approach to analysing different theories and data.
