Objective

Acquire knowledge of sports injuries, their causes and prevention, acquire skills and necessary competences for the qualification of education and sports specialist sports teacher, sports coach, sports manager.

Prerequisites

Anatomy, physiology basics, age physiology, sports physiology, sports biochemistry, sports biomechanics basics and physical exercise and health.The terminology of the study in English is used in the study courses of anatomy, physiology biomechanics, biochemistry, as well as in the study medium “English in physiotherapy” of I.Boges and I.Rudzinska. English for Physiotherapists’,Riga LASE, 2015Interdisciplinary in Sports injury, cause and Prevention study course manifests itself in the familiarity of knowledge from anatomy, dynamic anatomy, physiology, age and sports physiology and biomechanics study courses, as well as pedagogical placement study courses.
