About Study Course
Objective
To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in sports medicine according to the requirements of sport medicine physicians’ specialty.
Learning outcomes
1.Knowledge of mutual interconnection of sports medicine as a multidisciplinary field of medicine and the field of sports. Theoretical and practical knowledge obtained about the specific character of physical load of different kinds of sport and impact on a human body, training process, periodisation, types of impact of physical load and physical activities as means of primary and secondary prevention of different diseases.
1.Ability to reasonably select the most suitable assessment methods of physical load impact on athletes representing diverse sports, assess results of examination and give recommendations to the athlete and the coach.
1.Competence in assessment and solution of different clinical cases.
