Objective
Will gain in-depth knowledge of the basic principles of sports nutrition, biochemical processes affecting physical performance and effective performance support strategies.
Prerequisites
Fundamentals of biochemistry, nutrition, and sports physiology.

Knowledge
1.Will recognise the main mechanisms for producing and using energy in the body at rest and during physical exercise
Skills
1.Able to independently assess the nutritional needs of specific athletes taking into account the intensity, duration of training, the nature of the sport and the objectives to be achieved
Competence
1.Will be able to apply the acquired knowledge to explain the energy needs of different athletes and to justify nutritional strategies over different training cycles.
