Objective

The summer school is implemented as a study practice and its purpose is to combine students' theoretic knowledge with the study of specific health cases or digitization using data analytical methods.

Prerequisites

The summer school is implemented in the 2nd semester of the 1st study year.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.The student acquires knowledge:
• confirmation of theoretical knowledge in the relevant healthcare field or digitization;
• selection of analytical methods for the analysis of a specific case;
• practical skills in case analysis.

Skills

1.The student acquires skills:
• in the application of theoretical knowledge in the analysis of a specific case;
• in the selection and application of appropriate analytical tools and analysis methods for the case study;
• in organizing and implementing group work.

Competence

1.The student acquires competence:
• practical skills in health case analysis or digital transformation;
• in justifying, arguing and presenting the results of analytical work.
