About Study Course
Objective
To ensure the acquisition of theoretical knowledge on the selection and application of homoeopathic preparations, as well as the development of understanding of treatment tactics in cases of chronic and complex illnesses, in accordance with the requirements of the regulations of the homoeopathy specialty, which would allow the doctor to develop analytical abilities and apply the acquired knowledge in clinical practice.
Learning outcomes
1.During the time allotted for the study course, the medical resident acquires knowledge:
• about different approaches to clinical case analysis;
• about the role of the constitution in the choice of treatment strategy;
• a broader view of the chronic nature and development of a disease, both in its biographical and pathological aspects;
• about different strategic approaches: aetiological, local, pathological, basic symptom, totality, constitutional, miasmatic, palliative, sequential;
• about the concept of suppression;
• about Similimum and Similars reactions;
• about contraindications for certain preparations in specific situations;
• about the value of conventional nosology.
1.• taking a homoeopathic anamnesis, with particular emphasis on the patient’s medical history prior to the current illness;
• analysis of the symptom cluster and symptom hierarchy;
• selection and approval of a remedy with direct reference to Materia Medica and repertories;
• selection and use of an appropriate preparation (posology);
• systematic follow-up, in particular in the light of the response to the homoeopathic remedy, evaluation of future tactics – changing the dose, the potency, the remedy;
• evaluation of the need to repeat or change the product or potency based on the follow-up;
• correct assessment of the effects of homoeopathy and the ability to distinguish it from those of other therapeutic modalities;
• differences between homoeopathic and conventional clinical approaches, including indications and limitations of homoeopathic treatment;
• using Materia Medica and repertories;
• in-depth knowledge of the structure of repertories and repertorisation techniques;
• effective use of repertory data in case analysis;
• translating the patient’s language into the language of Materia Medica and repertories;
• understanding of Materia Medica and repertory data limitations;
• analysis of chronic and complex cases;
• the rationale for the case treatment and management strategy;
• analysis of cases that have previously failed to respond or responded poorly to homoeopathic treatment.

• to use different approaches to treating a clinical case;
• to select treatment tactics appropriate to the patient’s constitution;
• to understand the development of acute and chronic diseases in order to tailor individual treatment tactics for the patient;
• to differentiate between Similimum and Similars reactions;
• to be able to distinguish between therapeutic and suppressive reactions;
• to recognise contraindications to preparations in specific situations;
• to understand the value of conventional nosology;
• to use knowledge of conventional medicine and modern diagnostic methods, combined with an understanding of the basic principles of homoeopathy and philosophical-therapeutic concepts, to provide the best and highest quality care for patients;
• to learn from each clinical case and apply the knowledge in practice;
• to fully develop homoeopathic treatment for every patient.
