About Study Course
Objective
To train anaesthesiologists – reanimatologists for work with blood, its’ components and replacement fluids (crystalloids and colloids) in elective and urgent situations.
Learning outcomes
1.Residents know preparation technique of blood and its’ components, basics of immunohematology and an algorithm for the management of acute blood loss.
Residents are educated in theory of blood components, available crystalloids and colloids, artificial blood products and clotting factor in substitutes.
1.The documentation related to the transfusion of blood components should be drawn up more correctly;
Must be able to correctly draw up the patient's transfusion documents ("Patient's blood card", transfusion protocol);
Must be able to determine the blood group using the plane method and the compatibility test using the gel technique on the Liss/Coombs card;
Must be able to perform blood grouping and compatibility tests.
1.Residents are able to apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills in transfusiology in different clinical situations.
