Objective

To develop and strengthen the student’s research skills by ensuring the ability to independently formulate and solve scientific and practical problems, using theoretical knowledge and empirical data, as well as to substantiate the results of their research with evidence-based arguments.

Prerequisites

Search and systematization of evidence-based sports science research; formulation of scientific research categories for the bachelor’s thesis; research designs and types; application of mathematical statistics methods in data processing; analysis of results.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Understanding of the structure and requirements of academic work, as well as the development and structuring of a scientific literature review in accordance with the research problem.

Skills

1.Uses scientific databases to obtain the latest evidence-based information on the research question and research area.

Competence

1.Ability to independently conduct research that meets scientific research standards, ensuring the capacity to critically evaluate scientific sources, theories, and research findings at a high academic level.
