Technical and Transportation Unit

Scope of activities

• Surveying real estate owned, possessed and held by Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) regularly;
• Planning procurements related to fulfiling tasks in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations and financial resources planned by RSU;
• Ensuring that the electric power supply, low-voltage networks, sewage, heat, water and gas supply, ventilation and air conditioning systems operate effectively;
• Arranging emergency repairs to real estate owned, held and managed by RSU;
• Organising redecoration of real estate owned, possessed and held by RSU;
• Maintaining the university's fleet of vehicles, assessing its technical condition and carrying out maintenance;
• Accounting for the vehicles in the university's fleet, ensuring efficient and effective use of vehicles for the university's needs;
• Overseeing the logistics and organisation of all RSU vehicles.
