Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Successfully completed all study courses of the relevant study program.
Objective:
The purpose of the state examination is to test students' theoretical knowledge, skills, in accordance with the study program to be studied.
Assessment
Unaided Work:
Preparation for the State examination and its administration.
Assessment Criteria:
The evaluation of all parts of the VP, as well as the resulting evaluation, takes place according to the generally accepted 10-point system. In order for the resulting evaluation in the complex test to be successful, all three parts of the VP must be successfully completed. Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:The student will be able to interpret examinations and justify them; make a complete list of differential diagnoses; carry out the justification of the diagnosis (next to the diagnosis); justify the principles of treatment (including preventive measures).
Skills:The student's communication skills (conversation) with the patient will be developed. The student will be able to identify diseases, their severity and course, differentiate them, justify the diagnosis, prescribe the necessary investigation plan and evaluate the results, prescribe treatment for specific patients, draw up the necessary medical documentation.
Competencies:Competences will enable purposeful and structured clarification of the patient's anamnesis, assessment of the patient's vital indicators (namely, the patient's state of consciousness, breathing, heart rate, central and peripheral pulse, arterial blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation, body temperature, diuresis), will allow linking the various components and symptoms of the pathological process , which affects it, will allow to evaluate the patient's state of health, to interpret compliance with the norm and deviation from it, and to attribute the finding to the specific situation, and to make a decision on the further course of action. It will allow to recognize acute conditions in medicine, to organize timely assistance, to interpret the results of various examinations and to formulate the appropriate conclusion, to plan treatment tactics.
