On Thursday, 17 June at 18:00 (EEST), the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Dermatology and Venerology Academic Society will host a guest lecturer to speak to students. Professor Dr. Martin Laimer from the University Hospital of the Paracelsus Medical University Salzburg (Austria) will present a lecture on Epidermolysis Bullosa via Zoom.

Prof. Laimer is an expert with more than 19 years of experience in the field of rare genodermatoses. He is the head of the Clinical Study Center of EB House Austria, the first national expertise centre for Epidermolysis Bullosa within the European Reference Network Skin. In 2014, he was appointed as Co-Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of the Salzburg Centre for Rare Diseases and in 2020 Prof. Laimer was elected as the Secretary General of the Austrian Society of Dermatology and Venereology.
