  • implement doctoral studies;
  • foster the research and qualification upgrading of the department’s academic staff;

  • Immunodermatology and autoimmune skin diseases;
  • Rare dermatoses, genodermatoses;
  • The role of dermatoscopy in assessing skin cancer treatment results;
  • Sexually transmitted diseases.

Research topics

  • Moderate / severe atopic dermatitis;
  • Dermatoscopic and morphological correlations of atypical actinic keratosis;
  • Dermatoscopic characteristics of inflammatory non-scarring psoriasis and lichen planus balanitis, relation to their histological features and impact on quality of life.
