Areas of work, main tasks and objectives
- To organise high-quality and modern undergraduate and continuing education in dermatology and venereology;
- supervise students’ and residents’ research papers;
- implement doctoral studies;
- foster the research and qualification upgrading of the department’s academic staff;
- cooperate with other structural units at RSU and professional associations.
Research directions
- Immunodermatology and autoimmune skin diseases;
- Rare dermatoses, genodermatoses;
- The role of dermatoscopy in assessing skin cancer treatment results;
- Sexually transmitted diseases.
Research topics
- Moderate / severe atopic dermatitis;
- Dermatoscopic and morphological correlations of atypical actinic keratosis;
- Dermatoscopic characteristics of inflammatory non-scarring psoriasis and lichen planus balanitis, relation to their histological features and impact on quality of life.
