On 3 June, researchers from Rīga Stradiņš University and other institutions are invited to take part in the BioPhoT platform’s in-person seminar 'Responsible Research and Innovation. BioPhoT Ethics and Inclusion Guidelines.'

An ethical and socially responsible approach to research and innovation helps identify potential risks in a timely manner, strengthens public trust, and promotes the development of solutions that are safe, reliable, and meet the needs of different groups in society. The aim of this seminar is to introduce BioPhoT research and innovation project implementers and project applicants to the platform’s Ethics and Inclusion Guidelines, with special focus on the responsible research and innovation framework, artificial intelligence ethics, and inclusion-related issues.

The seminar will be led by RSU lecturers and researchers Dr. Uldis Vēgners, Laura Bitiniece un Diāna Kiščenko.
