About
The academic and administrative staff of the Riga Stradiņš university (RSU) obtain an ID card to access working place, parking lot or restricted access areas if such access is granted, as well as to use an ID card for shared printing facilities.
In order for a new RSU employee to receive an ID card, the Head of the particular employee's department must apply by writing to itrsu[pnkts]lv to specify:
- the name and surname of the employee;
- photo of the employee;
- the position of employee;
- the department;
- date of signing agreement.
When applying for ID card, please kindly avoid using a picture where the employee is not identifiable (e.g. with sunglasses).
When ID card is ready, employee will receive informational email and will be able to get ID card to IT Service centre located in RSU main building G-115 office, Dzirciema Street 16.

If you have lost the ID card, report it immediately to the RSU IT Service Center by writing to itrsu[pnkts]lv. For security reasons, the IT Service Center will block the card after notification received.
- What do I do if I find a lost ID card?
If you have found a lost card, please return it to the Information Centre, in RSU main building, Dzirciema Street 16, Tel. +37167409105, e-mail: infocentrsrsu[pnkts]lv.
- What if you need to change the ID card?
You must change the ID card if you have changed the position, unit, or department. You must report to the RSU IT Service Center by writing to itrsu[pnkts]lv.
