Alexander Lerner, Visiting Professor at the Department of Orthopaedics, Gave Lecture on Orthopaedic War Injuries
International Cooperation
Continuing the long-standing cooperation with Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Department of Orthopaedics, Professor Alexander Lerner from the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine at Bar-Ilan University and the Orthopaedic Clinic of Ziv Medical Center in Israel, gave several lectures at RSU on 14 October.
This time, the Professor lectured about orthopaedic war injuries at the Institute of Anatomy and Anthropology. He covered several topics:
- Staged treatment of extremities after severe combat trauma
- Infection prevention and control in war injuries of limbs
- Extreme cases in orthopaedics
