Feminist Investigations Research Group Joins Latvian Research & Innovation Partner Catalogue 2026
The Feminist Investigations research group, led by Jana Kukaine at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), is featured in the Latvian Research & Innovation Partner Catalogue 2026, published by the Latvian Council of Science’s Horizon Europe National Contact Point.
The catalogue brings together 120 Latvian research and innovation teams, highlighting their expertise, research infrastructure, international project experience, and collaboration interests. It aims to raise the international visibility of Latvian research organisations, foster new partnerships, and strengthen their participation in international research and innovation projects, particularly under Horizon Europe.
The Feminist Investigations research group integrates expertise in feminist research, social anthropology, sociology, media and communication, art, and cultural analysis. Its research focuses on gender and intersectionality, care, reproductive politics, motherhood, family, migration, digital culture, and food systems, using qualitative, ethnographic, discursive, visual, and creative research methods.

The group is open to interdisciplinary collaboration across all three Horizon Europe pillars, particularly in health, culture and inclusive societies, digital technologies, climate, bioeconomy, and environmental sustainability, as well as EU Missions and the New European Bauhaus.
