International cooperation

Students from the Police Studies Department of the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Legal Affairs in Bavaria (Fachhochschule für öffentliche Verwaltung und Rechtspflege in Bayern) visited Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) on 29 October.

The undergraduate students of the Police Studies Department became acquainted with the forensic training facilities of the RSU Faculty of Law as well as with the practical side of training (for example different types of footprint examination and the materials and techniques used for this). This was followed by a visit to the RSU Museum.

During the visit guests listened to a presentation about the training opportunities of junior and senior commanding staff of the State Police at RSU. The guests were also introduced to the possibilities to continue postgraduate training at RSU, as well as to further perspectives on the improvement and development of the teaching process.

The visit was organised by the RSU Faculty of Law in cooperation with the State Police College.
