Join the Hubs on Gender Equality in Research!
We invite researchers and doctoral students of Rīga Stradiņš University to take part in the thematic hubs on gender equality, inclusion, and diversity in research, organized within the Horizon Europe project Fostering inclusive biomedicine geps in research and higher education institutions (INCLUDE).


The thematic hubs will focus on four key topics:
- Rethinking Diversity in Biomedical Research;
- Intersectional Data Collection & Indicators;
- Gender & Intersectionality in Biomedical Research;
- Strategic Gender Budgeting in R&I: Tools, Practices, Outcomes for Sustaining Change.
The aim of the hubs is to exchange experiences, learn from international examples, and jointly explore solutions for creating a more inclusive research environment in Europe.
The hubs will be held online in English from September this year until February 2026.
The next forum, Rethinking Diversity in Biomedical Research, will take place across three online sessions (11:00–14:00 EET):
- 30 September – Collective diagnosis and shared concerns;
- 14 October – Strategy exchange;
- 28 October – Reflection and resource sharing.

- 8 October at 10:00
- 17 November at 11:00
- 16 February at 11:00
