The annual fair Riga Food 2019 was held from 4 to 7 September. Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) also participated this year with a booth in the Food Innovations section.

RSU was represented by students and lecturers from the Nutrition professional bachelor’s study programme. Among them were Una Veseta, Head of the Department of Sports and Nutrition, and Lolita Vija Neimane, Head of the Nutrition and Nutrition Science study programmes. Visitors to the RSU booth had the opportunity to analyse their body composition and receive personalised dietary recommendations which proved to be very popular among visitors. The RSU booth was attended by visitors who consult with the university’s students year after year and are grateful for the advice they receive. Visitors also had the opportunity to inquire about the extensive study opportunities at RSU.
