RSU lecturers honoured with the highest awards of the justice system
On April 9, a meeting of the State Honours Council of the Justice System took place, during which it was decided to award the 2025 Justice System Medals of Honour to 38 qualified specialists, experts, employees of the justice system, as well as individuals who, through their work and civic engagement, have made a significant contribution to the development of Latvia's justice system, democracy and the rule of law.
Recipients of the Medal of Honour of the Second Level
Attorney-at-law, Assoc. Prof. Aldis Lieljuksis of the Faculty of Social Sciences, for his significant contribution to the development of the justice system, the strengthening of democracy and the rule of law, for his significant scientific achievements in the development and implementation of justice sector policy, as well as for promoting the knowledge and professionalism of individuals within the judicial system.
Attorney-at-law, Asst. Prof. Ivars Kronis of the Faculty of Social Sciences, for his significant contribution to the development of the justice system and to the strengthening of democracy and the rule of law.
Jānis Neimanis, Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Latvia, Visiting Associate Professor of the Faculty of Social Sciences, for his outstanding contribution to the development of the justice system, and to the strengthening of democracy and the rule of law in Latvia and globally, including for his notable scientific achievement in the field of justice.
