RSU scientists can now obtain microdata from Eurostat for their research
Research
RSU has now been included on the list of scientific institutions recognised by Eurostat with access to their statistical database. This means that RSU scientists can now request meta- and microdata from Eurostat by submitting a study application description. This opens researchers up to significantly more research opportunities.
Eurostat is the statistical office of the European Union that provides statistics for Europe. RSU is currently the only scientific institution in Latvia recognised by Eurostat. It took several months of hard work by RSU Department of Public Health and Epidemiology and RSU Research Department for our university to accomplish this.
