Objective

To ensure students acquire theoretical knowledge, practical skills and professional competences in orienteering, nordic walking, tourism and skating in sports and health lessons, in conformity with the content of the general education training area “Health and physical activity”, promoting a safe, inclusive and student development-oriented learning process.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of foreign languages at a sufficient level to understand specialist literature in English. Basic knowledge from school sport-orienteering, Nordic walking, tourism, skating. Study courses acquired: human anatomy and dynamic anatomy.

Knowledge

1.Z1. Explains the theoretical basics of orientateering, nordic walking, tourism and skating in the context of an hour of sport and health.

Skills

1.P1. Plans to take lessons in orienteering, Nordic walking, tourism and skating according to the age and preparedness of students.
Able to use a variety of learning methods and means, create a supportive and safe learning environment, and organize a learning process closer to real life situations.
Prepare instructional and handouts (maps, exercises) for teaching the basics and orienteering of outdoor life skills and tourism at school.

Competence

1.K1. Independently organize and manage the learning process in the acquisition of orienteering, Nordic walking, tourism and skating in accordance with educational objectives. Planning an interdisciplinary and individualized learning process.
