Interdisciplinary journal for researchers and practitioners in sports science

The journal brings together research topics in sports science, sports education, health, and sports psychology, which are relevant to both researchers and practitioners. It promotes the involvement of early career researchers in the international scientific community and provides a platform for ideas and insights strengthened on evidence-based research, contributing to the development of sport, health, and education.

The LASE Journal of Sport Science was established in 2010 and, following the consolidation of LASE with RSU on 1 July 2024, continues to be published under its original name and academic tradition, now with enhanced technical and intellectual support. The journal is issued twice a year and periodically publishes thematic special editions dedicated to specific fields of sports science.

The development of the journal can be highlighted as a positive example of the successful integration and collaboration between RSU and RSU LASE. We sincerely thank our RSU colleagues from the University’s Publishing and Printing Unit and IT Department for their support, creative ideas, and contributions that helped publish the journal in a new and high-quality format.

RSU LASE Prof. Dr. paed. Juris Grants, Editor-in-Chief

LASE Journal of Sport Science is indexed in the international databases Index Copernicus and ERIH PLUS, which attests to its scientific quality and international recognition.
