The RSU Lifelong Learning Centre invites dental professionals and health economists to a basic workshop on health economic modelling. This session introduces the fundamentals of health economic modelling as a strategic decision-making tool, using paediatric dental caries as a primary case study for practical application.

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Understand the fundamental methodology of health economic modelling and its utility in dental health;
- Identify how health states and transition probabilities inform decision-making in health settings;
- Understand how data can be utilized to inform health policy, resource allocation and the use of decision tree.
